Henrik Wahlström is a versatile talent – comedian, writer, director and influencer, to name a few. And now he’s taking over the Antique Fair at Stockholmsmässan to showcase his art and give a lecture on the connection between creativity and mental illness. Mark March 9 in your calendar to see Henrik Wahlström and his art, ready to inspire and touch!
It is possible to find elements of mental illness in his art. He describes how much of his art comes from dark emotions and how painting is something he can turn to when he comes out of depression.
Henrik Wahlström is self-taught and has painted a lot during his youth but also had a long break when he lacked an audience. One day, when he decided to publish a post with one of his own paintings, it had such a big impact that he decided to continue. And in doing so, he gained the audience he had always lacked.
He is also currently publishing his new book “Upside down: a survival guide for bipolar disorder”, which he will sign in the bookshop.
Don’t miss the chance to meet Henrik Wahlström, who will only be on site on March 9.
