At the Antiques Fair 2025, furniture entrepreneur Johan Sjöberg presents a unique exhibition where design history meets sustainability. Johan, a well-known profile in the furniture world, brings parts of his incredible collection of over 2,000 pieces of furniture from Småland from the 20th century.
The exhibition will include around 250 chairs placed in an inspiring café setting, where visitors can sit down and enjoy coffee in this historic design furniture. The chairs range from iconic pieces from 1950s Ikea to early 2000s Källemo, giving a broad insight into Swedish furniture history.
Sales are also part of the experience – many of the chairs are available for up to SEK 1,000, while other, more exclusive pieces highlight the unique craft traditions of Småland. A particular highlight is Johan Sjöberg’s personal favorite, the Bågen chair from Nässjö, which features prominently in the exhibition.
– Reuse is right on time, and the best chairs never need to be discarded. I look forward to sharing these stories and inspiring visitors to make the most of our design history,” says Johan Sjöberg.
Don’t miss this chance to combine coffee and design in an exhibition that celebrates Swedish furniture tradition and sustainability!
